Eddy Ooi is a Berklee College of Music-trained guitarist with a Diploma in Music Theory and a rich background as a lead guitarist and bandleader in combo bands. Driven by a passion to integrate the harmonica into band settings, he studied under both local and international harmonica masters. With over two decades of experience, Eddy now serves as the principal Chromatic Harmonica instructor at the Singapore Association for Continuing Education and is the Chairman of the Braddell Heights CC Harmonica Group. He is also a founding member of The First Harmonica Ensemble, which clinched 2nd runner-up at the 2022 Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival (APHF). Outside of music, Eddy is deeply committed to humanitarian work and continues to pursue research in Counselling Psychology.
